Sardines, fat man. I want SARDINES!!!

Christmas Story Telling

Christmas is approaching. Jon came home on an airplane. Jim drove. They are fun to have around during the day when mom and dad are working. They play games with me and let me sleep on their laps while they read or watch TV or play video games.

I love the big tree in the living room. I love the twinkly lights and the packages under the tree. It is a great place for forts and for playing hide and seek.

I remember as a kitten building forts with the boxes and playing that they were houses and walls and great big mountains. Chester would tell stories about pioneer cats who hunted in the prairie and I'd act them out. Tiger would tell stories of cats from outer space and how they came to earth and pretended to be pets, all the while trying to help humans be better to each other. And I would listen attentively and fall asleep by the fire.

I love Christmas.

This year, I am telling stories of the "Greatest cat in the world" and how he is loved by everyone. How he can be silly and fall off the couch when he rolls over--but everyone still knows he is graceful and handsome. Chester claims to have heard these stories before but he is a very old cat, he's heard EVERYTHING!

It is frustrating that there is no mention of animals blogging. like this is just a monkey thing?
