Mom's been busy busy busy lately.
On Saturday she wouldn't let us up ALL DAY. We had to stay in the basement. And that wasn't fun--even though Dad did give us extra tinned mice meat as a treat.
At first we wanted to get out. We shouted and yelled and then we heard strange voices.

Ladies voices.
And girl voices.

And it was scary. Oh my gosh! There was a shower/tea party going on in the living and dining rooms.

Good thing we were in the basement! Whew!

After they left mom let us come up and I got to nibble on the roses. Erin was still there so I said Hi to Erin and gave her lots of love.

Dad came home and he looked happy. He's spent the day out shopping, went to see the Bourne Ultimatum (won't tell me how it ends, he said we'll rent it on a Winter night and sit and watch it together!)

Now mom is working on Taste of Clarkston and apparently that takes a lot lot lot of time. She's been coming home late and going into work early.

~~sigh~~

Last night, though. Once Dad got home . . . I think it was around 8:15 . . . we all sat down and watched a little Top Gear on BBC America. I love James, Jeremy and Hammond. They love cars and they're so crazy! This week they were playing soccer with cars!

And we watched a little of the History Detectives. Mom and Dad got quite excited when they did some nuclear submarine stuff. Dad used to work on a nuclear submarine. He was the Weapons Officer!

I love watching TV with mom and dad.

Dad got a new TV and it's really big and it's really crisp and clear. I can see the ants on the blades of grass when we watched the Oregon Ducks beat the Wolverines! What a great game.
