I gotta be me

Today, for extra credit, I was doing a representational dance of "Hurricane Ike" and Mom yelled at me!

She told me to knock it off.

She doesn't appreciate art.
Or personal expression.
And she's sabotaging my efforts to get straight A's this term.

I just want to be ME and the BEST ME I can be.

And if that means running through the house at 100 miles an hour she should let me do that!
