So much has happened since I last wrote.

That night--on their anniversary--Mom got a phone call from Aunt Lisa, who said Gma wasn't doing well. That she was still in a lot of pain and was being very needy. I offered to go sit on her lap, but mom said no. She WON'T let me have the car keys! Even when I'm being generous and THOUGHTful!

So Dad took a day off work to go check on his mom. She wasn't in the Condo! He had to call around to the hospitals . . . again . . . to try and find her. And he did. She was a Sparrow. She was very dramatic--in lots of pain and couldn't eat and she was SURE she has Cancer.

Well . . . a CAT scan (cat's KNOW best, you know) and an MRI and a Bone Scan, and an Ultrasound . . . she doesn't have cancer. She has arthritis in her back and that probably hurts. . . . but it isn't cancer.

So Mom and Dad didn't get their dinner out for their anniversary.

OH! and while Dad was trying to track his mom down, my mom was busy setting up the first Concert in the Park. it was GREAT weather and there were over 3,000 people!

Tonight is the next concert and mom is dragging a big--yesterday was the Chamber's Golf Classic and they wore mom out! She held me last night and whispered in my ear, "Dougal, just so you know . . . Golfers CHEAT!" Then she sighed and dozed off.

Tomorrow, is the weekend and Mom has Monday off as a comp day for all her hours this week. She said we're going to sit in the hot tub, make tuna fish sandwiches and play Yahtzee. (I am VERY good with dice games).

I'm glad Gma is back home and it isn't Cancer. I'm a little . . . confused about how you can mistake arthritis for dying . . . .

Oh well . . . I'm just a cat. Cat's can't know EVERYthing about humans. They're so secretive! (And silly)
