I shall be an author now

Once upon a time there was a small hamlet of a village, where in lived a handsome prince. He was a great dancer and loved to sing.

He spent his days writing stories of his amazing triumphs and heroics. In the evenings he would tell his stories to all who would listen.

The Prince's name was Me . . . Um . . . MEME . . . . Um . . . okay . . .it's me.

Anyway, this handsome Prince had two brothers. One who was crazy and one who was lazy. They alternated which days they would be crazy and which days they would be lazy, never BOTH being lazy or crazy on the same days . . . unless it was a leap year.

Each day was similar to the others. A routine of good food, good entertainment, court jesters, travelling players and some great HD sports on TV.

One day into this hamlet came a beautiful princess. She was cold and removed. She ignored Prince MEME, acting like she didn't see him. She didn't respond to the stories and songs. She pretended never to see the great dancing. It was as if there were a great glass wall between the princess and the Prince.

Prince MEME was confused for a long time. HOW could she not see him? Whenever she was in the hamlet he would go to great lengths to please her. He learned new jokes. He shared food. He danced intricate, complicated, Dancing with the Starts Pas de deuxs . . . and still . . . . nothing.

The wall appeared invisible . . .yet was also insurmountable.

The Prince could not understand it . . . and so he lay down and took a nap.
