Happy New Year
Well it WOULD be a happy new year. Except Jim is gone back to school and took the ENTIRE FISH CHANNEL TV with him. He told me, "Dougal, this is my aquarium and if I don't take it home mom will forget to feed the fish and then it will be an all dead fish channel and we can't have that!"
I'd watch it. Even if it were and all dead fish channel.
Jon went home on Tuesday. He took his GPS unit with him so I will never have an idea how many satellites are tracking my every move. (one night it was 7!)
Dad is out taking down Christmas lights.
He started a new job this year--but he's still gone the same amount of time. What good is a new job if you still don't have a pony and you're still gone all that time?
Mom went back to work too and she told me I was getting fussy. That there are lots of things to watch on the squirrel channel and the bird channel and that I don't need someone around keeping me company ESPECIALLY when I sleep allllllllllllllll day.
You would think after all these years that they would understand me by now.
But they don't.
I'm sad.
Even the Catmus tree is down. No more playing fort under the branches. No more cat toys just hanging around for entertainment. And no pretty twinklie lights keeping us company in the middle of the night.
Happy New Year . . .
I can't wait for Spring when we can open up the back door and get lots of fresh air again.
