New Year Resolutions
It has been awhile since I've written. It's just been so sleepy gray outside that we haven't had a lot of energy to think deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep thoughts.
I've been considering some new year resolutions, but think I missed the window of opportunity. It's already Friday the 13th . . . if I hadn't broken my resolutions by now, this date would surely have done it.
After all . . . I am a black cat!
The Christmas Tree came down, despite my protests, and the new vacuum cleaner sucks up more cat hair faster than I've ever seen. It even does the upholstry chairs . . . so we can't really build up an level of cat fuzz in the house. It is depressing.
With it being January, Mom and Dad are back in the exercise area of the basement--working on their hamster wheels. That does provide a bit of amusement.
I haven't seen any good TV since the boys left for college. No car shows. No fun stuff. No video games . . .I mean how is a cat supposed to be entertained?
It is a little depressing.
On the other hand--we've had some sunny afternoons lately. Over 20 minutes of continuous sunlight in a row! Almost enough to get nappin' to.
So my New Year's Resolution?
To make New Year's Resolution by December 31--so I'm not caught short again, like I was this year. It's hard to think of something to improve on. I'm practically perfect in everyway.
